SEO Booster Compatibility with Popular SEO Plugins
SEO Booster works alongside Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO, SEOPress, and The SEO Framework: reading and writing meta where supported.
SEO Booster complements your SEO plugin: it does not replace title tags, sitemaps, or schema. When a supported plugin is active, SEO Booster reads and writes SEO titles, meta descriptions, and (where supported) focus keywords.
Supported plugins
| Plugin | WordPress slug |
|---|---|
| Yoast SEO | wordpress-seo/wp-seo.php |
| Rank Math SEO | seo-by-rank-math/rank-math.php |
| SEOPress | wp-seopress/seopress.php |
| All in One SEO (v4+) | all-in-one-seo-pack/all_in_one_seo_pack.php: not legacy v3 |
| The SEO Framework (v5+) | autodescription/autodescription.php |

Notes
- All in One SEO Lite stores custom per-term title and description in Pro (
aioseo_terms). Posts and focus keywords work on Lite. - Focus keyword “multi” means Rank Math, SEOPress, and AIOSEO can hold several keywords; editor Use can prepend without wiping the rest. Yoast stores one focus keyword.
- The SEO Framework has no native focus keyword field, so the Focus keywords tool and editor focus apply are skipped for that plugin.
- Template resolution (for example Rank Math
%excerpt%) is used for analysis and Page overview. Bulk Tools backup and fill-empty still use the raw stored values.
What SEO Booster writes
| Field | Where it is written |
|---|---|
| SEO title | Bulk Tools (meta, GSC opportunities), editor AI Use buttons |
| Meta description | Same as title |
| Focus keyword | Bulk focus keyword tool and editor apply: not available with The SEO Framework |
Which plugin is used?
If more than one supported SEO plugin is active, SEO Booster uses the first match in this order only:
- Yoast SEO
- Rank Math
- SEOPress
- All in One SEO
- The SEO Framework
Only that plugin receives writes. SEO Booster → Dashboard, Settings, and Tools show which plugin is active. If multiple SEO plugins are installed, an admin notice explains which one SEO Booster uses for writes.
WooCommerce
Product pages use the same integration as posts. Product categories and tags use taxonomy SEO fields from your active plugin (see the matrix above for AIOSEO term limits).
Without an SEO plugin
Google Search Console import, automatic links, and on-page analysis still work. Analysis uses page content and excerpts when no SEO plugin meta is available.
