AI Readiness in the editor
AI Readiness checklist, weighted score, and site checks in the block editor sidebar and on the Analysis tab of the SEO Booster metabox. Run quick review is block-editor only.
SEO analysis overview · Feature page
Where it appears:
- Block editor: SEO Booster sidebar panel (Plugin sidebar → SEO Booster)
- Classic editor / post metabox: SEO Booster metabox → Analysis tab → AI Readiness and Site checks sections
AI Readiness is a curated lens over saved SEO analysis results, not a separate scoring engine. Items map to known analysis issue keys; the weighted score reflects how many readiness checks pass.
AI Readiness score
The panel shows score / max · grade:
| Grade | Range |
|---|---|
| Excellent | 80–100% of max points |
| Good | 60–79% |
| Needs work | Below 60% |
Post-level checklist items contribute points when they pass. The overall SEO score from full analysis may appear alongside readiness when analysis data exists.
Post checklist
Each row is pass (✓), fail (○), or unknown (, ) for checks such as:
- Clear title and meta description
- Structured headings and readable content signals
- Image alt coverage and internal linking signals
- AI-bot and llms.txt related sitewide prerequisites (via linked analysis keys)
Run SEO review entire page on the Analysis tab of the main metabox first if the checklist shows Not analyzed yet.
Site checks
A second section lists sitewide readiness items (for example llms.txt availability, AI bot tracking configuration, and Entity Map status when Pro is available: served, disabled, physical file shadow, or a soft Pro opportunity). These are not per-post fixes; links point to SEO Possibilities, Tools, or Settings as appropriate.
Run quick review
In the block editor sidebar only, Run quick review triggers a lightweight local analysis refresh via AJAX (sb_ai_readiness_score with refresh=1), then rebuilds the checklist from updated saved analysis. The post metabox no longer includes a quick review button; use full-page review on the Analysis tab when needed.
This is faster than a full rendered-page download but still requires edit permission on the post.
Relationship to SEO Possibilities
Issues that fail AI Readiness checks also appear under the AI Readiness category filter on SEO Booster → SEO Possibilities. Fixing issues in analysis updates both views on the next run.
