Internal links without the busywork

What is it?

Keyword-to-URL rules that add internal links on enabled pages at render time, including WooCommerce. On pages built with common page builders, linking uses the rendered HTML. We do not provide in-editor integrations for Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi, or similar.

Who is it for?

Site owners who want better crawl paths and link equity without manually linking every matching phrase.

What does it solve?

Missed internal links and repetitive cross-linking. You choose the pages. The plugin inserts matching links when the page is viewed.

How automatic linking saves you time

Improves user experience

Relevant internal links help visitors find related content faster on enabled pages.

Stronger SEO

Internal links help search engines understand site structure and which pages matter for each topic.

Supports large-scale sites

For eCommerce stores, blogs, and enterprise sites, keyword rules scale as your content library grows.

Features of automatic linking

Custom link management (free)

Create, edit, and manage keyword-to-URL rules in SEO Booster → Automatic Links. Inline editing updates keywords and targets without leaving the list.

  • Add keywords via the form at the top (keyword + target URL)
  • Double-click keyword or URL cells to edit inline
  • Bulk delete selected rules
  • Last Used On column shows recent URLs where each keyword matched

Automatic Links → add keyword-to-URL rules and manage them in the current admin screen.

Smart keyword recognition (free)

On pages where autolink is enabled, matching phrases in body content become links to your chosen URLs. Links are injected at output, not saved into post_content in the database.

  • Skips headings, lists, existing links, code blocks, and other excluded elements
  • Respects max links per post and first-occurrence vs repeat settings in Settings
  • Does not run on REST, search, feeds, sitemaps, embeds, 404s, or previews

Per-post enable (free)

Autolink runs only on singular posts and pages where you enable it in the SEO Booster metabox Page settings → Automatic Linking (defaults on for new content). Meta `_sbp-autolink` must be `yes`.

  • Skips REST/JSON, search, feeds, sitemaps, embeds, 404s, and previews automatically
  • Keyword-to-URL rules in Automatic Links admin
  • Internal and external URLs supported in rules
  • Changes apply on the next page view for enabled content

Manage autolink across your whole site (Pro)

Free autolink is toggled one post at a time. Pro adds an Autolink column to the posts and pages list so you can see and change status for all content at a glance, flip a single post with one click, or select hundreds and bulk enable or disable in one action.

  • Autolink column with a one-click toggle on every row
  • Sortable, surface enabled or disabled content instantly
  • Bulk actions, enable or disable autolink for many posts at once
  • Quick Edit checkbox, change autolink without opening the editor
  • Works on every public post type, including WooCommerce products

Pro → toggle autolink per row, sort by status, or bulk enable/disable straight from the posts list.

Turn ranking keywords into internal links (Pro)

Pro connects autolink to your Google Search Console data. The keyword table on each post shows whether a query is already covered by a link rule, and if not, one click on Create links turns a keyword you already rank for into a rule that links on pages where autolink is enabled.

  • Autolink status next to every GSC keyword on the post
  • One-click Create links button, no copy-pasting keywords into the rules admin
  • See when a keyword is already linked to another page, so rules never compete
  • Autolink opportunities Tool suggests and creates rules in batches from GSC data

  3. Scale with Pro

Use the posts-list column and bulk actions (Pro) to toggle autolink across many pages, or create rules from the GSC keyword popup when a term is not yet linked.
